After graduating from the ACSS Basic Security Orientation Program, employees receive a customized guidebook designed to assist them with their OJT training. The “Bridging the Gap to Excellence, commitment to service through training” manual was specifically designed to provide officers with valuable information that will work in conjunction with site specific training manuals and Post Orders designed around the customer’s facility. All Site specific training is conducted by an ACSS certified Training officer knowledgeable with the security operations at that facility. The OJT training curriculums consist of a wide range of topics including:

Each time a new officer is trained at the site, the ACSS Training Officer completes the evaluation checklist along with all testing materials on the topics covered. The information is then reviewed and verified by the ACSS Operations department prior to the officer’s placement at the facility. Depending on the intricacies of an account, site specific training ranges from basic 4-16 hour instruction to advanced programs of 40-160 hours.
