Drug-Free Workplace
Bar none, you will not find a stronger goal at ABM than our ongoing commitment to providing a safe work environment for our team members, our clients, and the general public. As you can imagine, the impact of alcohol and drug abuse on society is both staggering and far-reaching. With this reality in mind, ABM has established a forward-thinking Drug-Free Workplace protocol as part of its Substance Abuse policy.
Our policy is proactive in nature and has the following three objectives: To ensure that our workplace is operating safely; to prevent, or otherwise identify and address, potential alcohol or drug abuse problems in order to ensure that such abuse does not jeopardize the successful operation of our business, nor otherwise affect the Company, our employees, our clients, or the general public; and to provide assistance for our team members and their family who have substance abuse problems.
ABM believes it is important that our team members’ personal privacy and dignity be respected while reaching our goal of a safe and productive workplace. Further, the Company believes that early recognition and treatment are critical to successful rehabilitation and to reduce business, personal, family and social disruption. To this end, we offer a formal Employee Assistance Program to our employees and their family members.
